Bill and Dave Webster were the true epitome of what were true Guardsmen of the Sky ! Both had that tremendous knowledge and indomitable leadership to ensure we all learned by the great Airborne brotherhood guardsmen which we were and the Pathfinders for 16 Parachute Brigade that no one else could do better and was certainly proven in years to come when the Brigade lost the best ever pathfinders ever for years to come until they were resurrected! I was truly honoured to have been Commanded by Major Bill Coleridge and what a great privilege that was including his great endeavour on getting me on the British Trans Americas Expedition with his expedition friend Major Blashford-Snell of Blue Nile fame ..
Thank you Bill you will never be forgotten aye
