I am sorting through some old newspapers (long story, don’t ask) and have come across a couple of pieces about Capt. Robin Dixon GG who represented GB in the 2 man Bob with his partner, in the sporting sense, Tony Nash, in the ’64 Winter Olympics. These two pieces relate to their performance in the ’65 World Boblet. I will attempt to copy the two pictures in to the gallery.

    Best to all,

    Meash.

Not having any luck adding pictures to the piece, will keep trying. Can always circulate them via email net.
Just to clarify, at the time he won Gold for GB at the Winter Olympics of ’64 he was serving with the Company, and was given ‘Specialleave’ to attend. Guardsman From The Sky, Page 103 has a tale related by Lord Pat (Beresford) regarding a ‘Quick Move’ to Cyprus, the only absentee being Robin Dixon.
In the course of my Post Rep duties I have spoken to his good lady Wife and I gather that he, like so many, is struggling with his memory and other associated problems, but I was informed that he does enjoy the Newsletter.

Hi Meash, this seems to be proving a wee bit of a challenge for you, however, good lick fingers crossed for a successful result.
